CMZ has reached ISO 14001:2015 certification for its Environmental Management System.

The important result defines our strong commitment to implementing internal processes focused on protecting the environment, with a view to continuous improvement and in full compliance with national regulations.

ISO 14001:2015 certification, issued by the BUREAU VERITAS, involves all our company areas.

■ R&D AND ENGINEERING in order to: improve performances on CMZ products with a new boost which takes in consideration the environmental design inputs systematically; reduce energy consumption; actively contribute to the optimal management of „product end-life“ by our Customers; acquire full awareness about environmental impacts for our new products throughout all their life-cycle.

■ PROCUREMENT with a new approach in managing our Suppliers by requiring: a much higher involvement in the implementation of the guidelines as settled by environmental regulations; the sharing of operative results (for instance, progressively better environmental data); the introduction of improving programs and compliance to regulations (about raw material, emissions, pollutants).

■ PRODUCTION to significantly reduce our power consumption, emissions and waste in components assembly, semi-finished products storage, and products testing.

■ AFTER SALE SERVICE to find zero-environmental-impact solutions as much as possible, in the repairing of electronic boards and electronic systems.
